Indian Poet Jayan KC
Jayan K.C (Jayan K. Cherian) born in India, writes in Malayalam, which is the native language of Kerala,one of the southern states of India. He started to write poems as a teenager. Currently living in new York and writing poems and articles for periodicals in India as well as in united states. He published four collections of poetry in Malayalam “Ayodhanaththinte Achuthantu’ (Axis of Combat),(1996), “Ayanam vachana rekhayil”(Journey on the line of verse) (1999) , 'Polymorphism' (2002), and Pachakku (2006). Received many Awards for Poetry such as, Kerala Sahitya Academy Kanakasri Endowment Award for “Ayanam vachana rekhayil” 2002.
