Usha who won four gold medals in the 1986 Seoul Asian Games and came close to winning India's first athletics medal in Los Angeles Olympics in 1984 in the 400m hurdles has inspired a generation of athletes and continues to be a source of motivation for the aspiring Indian Olympians.
