    Ayurveda, which means “Knowledge of Life” is perhaps the most ancient Science of Health known to man. Ayurveda has its roots deep in Nature but it evolved through centuries of research by sages determined to unearth the secrets of Nature for the benefit of suffering mankind. He was a member of the Faculty of Ayurveda at the University of Kerala and also empanelled as a member of the Government Advisory Council. The four sons M.C.Mohanachandradas, Dr M.C.Rajachandradas, M.C.Balachandradas and Dr M.C.Vijayachandradas of Dr. Chandrasekharan Nair imbibed his practical wisdom and inherited his legendary dedication. They all followed in his footsteps. Each son, under his own chosen portfolio, introduced principles of modern management in organization, harnessed modern technology for production, expanded the spectrum of health services and identified new locations for a wider reach. Their joint efforts took Sree Sankara Ayurveda Vaidyasala to new heights and won it a place of honour on the map of Global Health Care.
